Improving carbon product yields in biocarbon production by combining pyrolysis and anaerobic digestion

Solid carbon is an important raw material in industrial processes. Most of the charcoal produced today via conventional carbonization, which suffers from huge losses due to system inefficiency. Intermediate pyrolysis principally similar carbonization and produces biocarbon while capturing off gasses; among these gasses aqueous condensate, difficult utilize high water content low energy content. This fraction can contain up 25% feedstock, so utilization this for good overall balance. Anaerobic digestion be a promising tool utilizing condensate by converting it into biomethane. Here, birch spruce wood were pyrolyzed biomethane potential condensates was tested. The mass balances products at two temperatures performed, yields ranging 42% 54% obtained. phases collected process with recovery between 44% 59%. A total 77.8% 85.7% obtained, primary identified.
